Fish n' Fun
The 4th Annual Kids Fish n’ Fun Day which was held Saturday June 3rd at Edge Water Park was a huge success. Heather Gottschalk, local DNR warden welcomed Scott Hassett, Secretary of the Department of Natural Resources.
The Beaver Dam Lake Improvement Association, Inc. presented Scott with a BDLIA polo shirt and a BDLIA cap. He was very pleased to received the gifts from us. He gave a short talk, and mingled with the kids and the other people in attendance.
We had 93 very happy and smiling kids that all received a free rod and reel and a kids fishing bucket with lots of fishing items in.
Heather Gottschalk, gave a talk to the kids, followed by 5 fishing seminars held by The Beaver Dam Bass Anglers, and wonderful cook-out, which was enjoyed by all and then the kids, got to go fishing. A great day, with beautiful weather was had by all.

Parade of Homes
The BDLIA is looking to establish a yearly “Parade of Homes”. It involves a small group of lake property owners that are willing to invite members of the community into their homes for a brief visit and view. The members will be shuttled about the lake by volunteer operators of pontoon boats. As this is a yearly event, we plan to alternate both ends of the lake. If you are interested in the program, please contact me at (920) 928-2551 for further information.
