Cardboard Boat Regatta - Registration Deadline is July 8 (Sat, July 11, 2026)

Join the fun and challenge of building and racing a corrugated cardboard boat on Saturday, July 11. The Beaver Dam Lake Improvement Association (BDLIA) in partnership with the Beaver Dam Recreation Department will hold the Cardboard Boat Regatta during BeaverFest.

Building materials will be provided to pre-registered teams. There will be cash and other prizes. This event is limited to eight teams of three people. Minimum age to participate is five years old. One team member must be 16 years old or over. The person who signs up the team will be the team captain.

Pontoon Boat Rides - Registration Deadline is July 9 (Sat, July 11, 2026)

BDLIA will be providing free ~20-minute pontoon boat rides on Beaver Dam Lake at BeaverFest, and registration is required. Time slots for rides can fill up quickly! Each ride is limited to eight people, and you may only take one boat ride. No food or drink are allowed on the pontoon rides. Registered riders are required to check-in at boat dock ten minutes prior to ride time (for example: pontoon ride reserved for 1:00 pm, check-in by 12:50 pm). If not checked in five minutes prior to start time, reservation spot will be forfeited to people on waitlist.

A limited number of rides can also be reserved starting at 11:00 am on July 11 at the BDLIA booth at Tahoe Park.

BDLIA Member Social - Registration will open in June (Wed, July 22, 2026)

The Beaver Dam Lake Improvement Association is looking forward to our Member Social! All members and their guests are welcome.

Registration will open in June.

The Social will run from around 4:00-7:00 p.m. Food will be served from 5:00-6:30 p.m. The meal will include a brat or burger, chips, and a soda, beer, or rail mixer.

The event will be held rain or shine!
